Our Furry Friends Are Excited to Meet You!

           You might not know it by looking at her luxuriously thick coat, perfect teeth and huge, bright eyes, but this gorgeous girl hard a hard start in life. We don't know all of the details, but she was dumped in a field in central California after Christmas with several other Chihuahua mixes. They lived out there for a few months in a foxhole. Imagine this little pack of Chihuahuas fending off coyotes and wandering farm dogs for 2 months. The farmer who owned the land finally caught them and I've spent the last 2 months teaching them to be pets again. She's potty trained to puppy pads, fake grass pads, and going outdoors. She just follows me around all day and she loves sleeping as close to me as she can. She's an absolute sweetheart, but it does take her a little while to learn that new people won't hurt her. She has some justifiable trust issues! She occasionally tries to protect me from people or animals by showing her teeth and even growling, but if I say her name like I'm disappointed she immediately stops. She's great with cats, very respectful. She's a low energy dog and she doesn't need walks. She is fine being home alone. If your house is too chaotic she'll just hide all day and be stressed out. She gets freaked out by kids because they're unpredictable. She doesn't want to go on adventures. If you want a dog that will sit on your lap for hours at a time, this is it. If you're not an active person and you want a chill buddy, this is it. She will be obsessed with you forever. She's intensely loyal. She's only a year old and very healthy, so low vet bills! She also doesn't eat much because she's only 10lbs.

          Tommy is 8 months old, neutered, fully vaccinated, very silly, and playful pup. He loves to frolic outside and being social. He is leggy, lanky, and hops around like a baby giraffe. He wants to be friends with everyone and is a curious little guy. He is very smart, I had him sitting consistently on command within a couple days, and is progressing with leash training. He loves attention and loves tummy scratches once he gets to know you. Tommy is always down for a treat and considers hot dogs a delicacy. If you’re looking for the most photogenic, ride or die type of guy and a stud of a GS, then you have found your dog!

            Maya is a 4-year-old female large mixed breed dog. Her family describes her as adaptable and noble. She weighs approximately 90 pounds and is not spayed. In the beginning of her life, she lived with sheep and sheepdogs in Anderson Valley on a vineyard. As the older sheepdogs she lived with passed on and younger sheepdogs were integrated into the herd, they rejected her, so her people took her in to live at their home, mostly outdoors. While living with her family, she showed that she is very patient and gentle with children. Unfortunately, her family had to move and was told that she could not live in their new home, which was provided by an employer. Maya knows sit, come, and stay commands in Spanish. She walks on a leash, is good with baths and loves water, has not been seen to chase cats or chickens, is not aggressive toward other dogs, and is up to date with her vaccines.

           One male name is Bane he is four years old and neutered. One female Freya She is 3 1/2 and she is spayed. They get along great with one another they love running and playing, and having lots of snuggles kind of standoffish with other dogs would have too be introduced on leashes. I am just no longer able to keep them at the rental we are inn. I would like for them to stay together if possible. They do really well with our almost three year old as well.

            Looking for potential foster or someone who may want to adopt this sweet girl. She was dumped in my neighborhood a couple weeks ago. Since I’ve been caring for her I’ve gotten to see her become more comfortable and playful. She has a very calm eager to please personality, cat and dog friendly, playful, and veryyyy affectionate. If she’s not sun bathing, she’s attached at my hip waiting for lovings. I decided to call her Georgia while I search for a place for her because she’s sweet as a peach. I’m unsure of her vaccination status as she was dumped and she is currently not spayed. She is on a waitlist with Middletown animal hospital for her appointment. Overall I think she’d be a great all around dog whether it’s a couch potato you’re searching for or someone to take on adventures she’s your girl!

           Porter is a good dog. Has some behavioral issues. He does not like to listen but knows the commands. He will rip up you newly just planted plants out of the ground or flower pot. You have to watch how much he eats or he will just keep eating makes himself sick through up and goes back to eating. Other then that he is friendly to people and other animals. He will be good for a large yard or farm.

         Hello good morning my name is Nancy Trueblood for the last four months. I’ve tried to find homes for my two Akita pups. They will be two years old December 21. I have given all their shots to them. I recently moved from 86 acres from Westport to Willits, because of job transfer where I was hoping I could move with them, however where I move to I was unable to move with my dogs. I’ve currently kept them in a kennel for the last three months, which is not humane thing to do. I feed them on a regular basis I clean their kennel weekly. I work two jobs and I currently take care of five grandchildren. I’m in such desperate need to find a good home to them. I’ve tried social media, I've tried all local rescues, I  even sat out in front of the store to try to find homes for my two dogs. I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me with finding either a rescue home for them or a place for them to go I would truly truly appreciate it. Thank you!
