Dog or Cat Owner Surrender Request

Humane Society for Inland Mendocino County understands there are many reasons owners sometimes find themselves in a situation where they are no longer able to care for their pet and need to surrender or rehome. 

We understand this decision can be difficult and emotional for the both the pet and owner. Regardless of the reason for surrender, we are here to help you through the process. 

It is very important we ensure any pet taken into our care will have a successful outcome and since you know your pet best, the information you provide will help us understand the needs of your pet and determine whether or not we are able to take them into our care.
